BOOKS SANDWICHED IN
FRIENDS of the Plano Public Library sponsors a series of book reviews by local reviewers called Books Sandwiched In because it meets at NOON and bag lunches are welcomed. The following is the fall 2007 series.

Friends of the Plano Public Library is a non-profit, educational group of citizens dedicated to supporting Plano libraries. Annual memberships range from $10.00 to $500.00. All members receive the monthly calendar and quarterly newsletter by mail plus advance notices about library events and programs. Different levels of memberships include different benefits. For example, "Special Edition" members, individuals joining at the $25 level, receive an exclusive invitation to the Friends Annual Book Sale preview party. Other benefits can include canvas book bags, exclusive invites to author events, and name recognition through special book name plates.
